Trenton's Bio:

I am a local 24 year old artist born and raised here in Albuquerque. I'm currently studying at CNM to receive an associate's degree in Studio Arts. I focus my efforts on expanding my knowledge of art through hands on experience and practice. Oil paints are my usual medium of choice due to their blending capabilities and easily manipulated nature. I find myself painting and drawing in times of inspiration and emotional turmoil, as an outlet and as a form of personal motivation.

Trenton's Artist Statement:

I feel that art is a process, not only a process of physically creating, but a process of the mind revealing what it wants to create. Emotions have a stronghold within our society, yet we as humans tend to bottle them up. Well at least the "bad" or "unwated" ones. For me, it's those emotions that drive me, it's those emotions that create the art.

Why Trenton participated in ABQ Up With Paint:

I wanted to participate because of the tremendous impact this will have on our community and youngsters. I am so honored to be shown next to such amazing and influential artists. It really brings a warm feeling to my heart knowing Albuquerque has such creativity in all ages and walks of life. I am so incredibly excited to be apart of this project!
