Randy's Artist Statement:
“Abuelita SideEyez”, is a tribute to all the powerful women in my life who raised me. My biggest influencers and harshest critics - my mom, grandmothers and great aunt and will always let you know they’re approval or disapproval. More often than not they only have give a look that says it all. They also give boundless love and are fountains of wisdom. This is for them.
Why Randy participated in ABQ Up With Paint:
I love ABQ and wanted to share the love. I don’t put myself out there much as an artist. I saw this as a great platform to share my art with the local community and meet other local artists. Community is cool!
